Booking Deposits:
If Client is utilizing in-home overnight care, pet sitting, daycare, or boarding services for the first time, a 50% deposit upfront must be provided within three days of booking confirmation or payment request and the remaining balance must be paid within three days of the end service date or issued invoice. If the deposit payment is not made, the booking is not confirmed and no services will be performed. Returning Clients may pay in full after the service but must do so no later than three days from the date of completion of the service or issued invoice.
If Client is utilizing any other service provided by LPC, such as dog walking, daycare, or special services, payment must be made within three days from the date of completion of the service or issued invoice.
Cancellation Policies:
**The cost associated with cancellation is not a penalty, but a portion of the lost income Laila’s Pet Care will incur as a result of allotting time and a part of the schedule to perform these services for a client as opposed to a third party. In the event of a verifiable emergency or sudden illness, Laila’s Pet Care may offer flexibility or credit toward future Services, at our discretion**
Overnight Care and Boarding Services: If client cancels overnight or boarding services with less than 21 days notice, then the 50% deposit is non refundable or if the deposit has not yet been paid, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. This fee includes all additional walks and/ or visits attached to the overnight care.
Cancellations of overnight care or boarding services with less than 48 hours notice are subject to the full fee.
Pet Sitting and Daycare Services: If client cancels pet sitting or daycare services with less than 10 days notice, then the 50% deposit is non refundable or if the deposit has not yet been paid, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Any drop in visits or walks outside of recurring Monday-Friday daily dog walks are considered pet sitting services.
Daily Dog Walks: If client cancels one or more dog walks with less than 24 hours notice, then a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Special Services: If client cancels special services with less than 24 hours notice, then a 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
Peak Holiday Services: If any services are booked during peak holiday dates and are not cancelled before the deadline, services must be paid for in full.
If Laila’s Pet Care must cancel Services due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to illness, emergency, or unsafe weather conditions, clients will be notified immediately and provided with a full refund, credit, or rescheduling options.
Fees:
Holiday Visit Fees: All dates with an additional surcharge are listed on the “Services and Rates” page.
Short Notice Overnight Booking Fee: 72 hours or less notice- $30 per overnight.
Early Morning/ Late Night Visit Fee: 6-7am and 9-10pm- +$15 added to regular rate.
Late Payment Fee: +$10 every 7 days after the payment due date.
